Philadelphia won as a -203 home favorite while the final score played under the 6.5-goal total.
The Flyers got two goals from Jeff Carter, who netted both in the third period. Mike Richards opened scoring in the first and Andrew Alberts added another goal in the third period.
Toronto's lone goal came off the stick of Alexei Ponikarovsky in the first minute of the third period. Goaltender Vesa Toskala turned away 26 shots in the loss.
