The Carolina Hurricanes got four points from Sergei Samsonov en route to a 7-2 beating of the Phoenix Coyotes at Jobing.com Arena Saturday.
Carolina won as a +118 road underdog while the final score played over the 5.5-goal total.
Samsonov scored a goal and assisted on three others. Tuomo Ruutu scored twice while Eric Staal, Matt Cullen, Patrick Eaves and Chad LaRose all added solo goals.
Steven Goertzen and Shane Doan scored for the Coyotes.
