Canadiens hold off Avalanche

The Montreal Canadiens took a hard-fought 4-2 victory over the Colorado Avalanche at the Pepsi Center Friday night.

Montreal won as a -110 road favorite while the final score played under the 5.5-goal total.

The Canadiens got goals from Francis Bouillon, Patrice Brisebois, Andrei Kostitsyn and Tom Kostopoulos.

Jordan Leopold and Tyler Arnason scored for the Avalanche.
