Senators drop Hurricanes

Chris Kelly's goal stood up as the winner, as the Ottawa Senators doubled the Carolina Hurricanes 4-2 on Tuesday night.

Ottawa won as -130 home favorites as the game played over the 5.5-goal total listed by sportsbooks.

Daniel Alfredsson and Antoine Vermette had two assists apiece for the Senators, who were outshot 43-22 by the Hurricanes in the victory.

Patrick Eaves and Anton Babchuk were the goal scorers for Carolina, which was stymied by Ottawa goaltender Alex Auld on the night.
