Brodeur, Devils shut down Avalanche

Martin Brodeur stopped 24 shots for the shutout Thursday night, as the New Jersey Devils defeated the Colorado Avalanche 4-0 at the Prudential Center.

New Jersey won the game as a -200 favorite, but the four goals went UNDER the posted over/under (5.5).

Jamie Langenbrunner, Zach Parise, Patrik Elias, and Travis Zajac potted the Devils markers.

Andrew Raycroft made 28 saves in a losing effort for the Avalanche.
