Phil Kessel potted two goals to lead the Boston Bruins past the Ottawa Senators 5-3 on Thursday night.

Boston won as -260 home favorites as the teams played over the 5.5-goal total set by oddsmakers.

P.J. Axelsson had a goal and an assist for the Bruins, who got two helpers from Marc Savard in the payday.

Jason Spezza had a pair of markers for Ottawa, while Daniel Alfredsson and Dany Heatley had two assists apiece for the Senators.
