Wild clip Avalanche in shootout

Marek Zidlicky potted the deciding goal in the shootout, as the Minnesota Wild downed the Colorado Avalanche 3-2 on Tuesday night.

Minnesota won as -170 home favorites as the teams played under the 5.5-goal total listed by sportsbooks.

Stephane Veilleux and Nick Schultz scored in regulation for the Wild, who got two assists from Eric Belanger in the victory.

Ryan Smyth and Cody McLeod had the markers for Colorado, which was outshot 29-26 by Minnesota.
