Carolina won the game as -125 favorites, while the six goals made it OVER the posted over/under (5.5).
Anton Babchuk, Eric Staal, and Sergei Samsonov netted the Hurricanes goals. Cam Ward stopped 40 shots to earn the victory.
Zach Parise and Brian Gionta scored for the Devils.
