Flyers double Devils

Flyers double Devils

Jeff Carter's power play goal in the third period was the winner, as the Philadelphia Flyers upended the New Jersey Devils 4-2 on Monday night.

Philadelphia cashed as a -110 home pick 'em, as the game played over the 5.5-goal total set by sportsbooks.

Simon Gagne found the back of the net to go along with two assists for the Flyers, who got a marker and a helper from Daniel Briere in the payday.

Brendan Shanahan and Jamie Langenbrunner scored for New Jersey, which outshot Philadelphia 34-25.
