Bruins down Leafs in wild affair

Boston and Toronto traded leads early in the game before the Bruins pulled away for a 7-5 victory over the Maple Leafs Saturday night at the Air Canada Centre.

Boston won the game as -220 favorites, and the combined 12 goals sailed OVER the posted over/under (6).

Mark Recchi potted two goals for the Bruins, while singles came off the sticks of Michael Ryder, Chuck Kobasew, Shawn Thornton, David Krejci, and Blake Wheeler.

Alexei Ponikarovsky scored twice, while Nikolai Kulemin, John Mitchell, and Niklas Hagman added singles for the Maple Leafs.
