Jason Pominville scored twice in leading the Buffalo Sabres to a 5-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes Thursday night.
Buffalo won the game as -165 favorites, and the six goals made it OVER the posted over/under (5.5).
Matt Ellis, Joachen Hecht, and Derek Roy added singles for the Sabres. Ryan Miller made 26 saves in earning the victory.
Eric Staal potted the only goal for the Hurricanes.
