Pittsburgh won the game as -330 favorites, while the seven goals made it OVER the posted over/under (6).
Philippe Boucher, Pascal Dupuis, Matt Cooke, Bill Guerin, Sergei Gonchar, and Tyler Kennedy potted the goals for the Penguins. Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin had two assists each in the win.
Frans Nielsen scored the only goal for the Islanders. Mathieu Garon stopped 28 shots in suffering the loss.
