The Detroit Red Wings showed no signs of fatigue as they came away with a 3-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals Saturday night at Joe Louis Arena.
Detroit won the game as -150 favorites, but the four goals went UNDER the night�s posted over/under (5.5).
Brad Stuart, Johan Franzen, and Justin Abdelkader scored for the Red Wings. Chris Osgood stopped 31 shots in the win.
Ruslan Fedotenko scored the lone goal for the Penguins, while Marc-Andre Fleury made 27 saves in the loss.
