Penguins hold off Red Wings, force Game 7

Tyler Kennedy's third period marker stood up as the winner, as the Pittsburgh Penguins trimmed the Detroit Red Wings 2-1 to force Game 7 in the Stanley Cup final on Tuesday night.

Pittsburgh cashed as -150 home favorites as the game played UNDER the 5.5-goal total set by oddsmakers.

Jordan Staal also scored for the Penguins, who outshot the Red Wings 31-26 in the payday.

Kris Draper potted the lone marker for Detroit, which went 0-for-2 on the power play on the night.
