Detroit won the game as -155 favorites, while the five goals went UNDER the posted over/under (6).
Nicklas Lidstrom, Kris Draper, and Johan Franzen all scored in the second period for the Red Wings. Chris Osgood stopped 31 shots in posting the win.
Patrick Sharp and Kris Versteeg replied for the Blackhawks.
