Brian Rafalski sealed the victory with the insurance marker late in the third period Thursday night, as the Detroit Red Wings defeated the Los Angeles Kings 5-2 at Joe Louis Arena.

Kirk Maltby, Jonathan Ericsson, Tomas Holmstrom, and Henrik Zetterberg with the game-winning goal also scored for the Red Wings.
