Orangemen edge Cowboys in overtime thriller
Delone Carter scored on a 15-yard run in overtime to give Syracuse a 40-34 overtime win over Wyoming at the Carrier Dome on Saturday.
The Orangemen covered the 5-point spread on the road, and the 74 points scored were OVER the posted total of 37.5.
Perry Patterson Jr. was 11-for-25 for 124 yards, one touchdown and one interception, and Carter ran 20 times for 127 yards and four majors in the contest for Syracuse.
Karsten Sween went 18-for-28 for 213 yards, two touchdowns and one pick, and Michael Ford caught 11 passes for 110 yards for the Cowboys.
