Huskies rip up Orangemen
The Washington Huskies scored 21 points in the fourth quarter in Week 1, hammering the Syracuse Orangemen 42-12 at the Carrier Dome.
The Huskies covered the 3.5-point road spread, and the 54 points scored were OVER the posted total of 44.5.
Jake Locker was 14-for-19 for 142 yards, while rushing for 83 yards for two touchdowns. Louis Rankin had 17 carries for 147 yards and three scores for the Huskies.
Andrew Robinson went 20-for-32 for 199 yards and a touchdown, while Taj Smith had five catches for 33 yards for the Orangemen.
