Recap - Bearcats Defeat Syracuse 30-13
Isaiah Pead was good for 112 receiving yards on Saturday as the Bearcats grabbed a 30-13 win over the Orange at Carrier Dome.
The Bearcats were a 2.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 50.5.
Munchie Legaux completed 13 of 22 pass attempts for 169 yards for the Bearcats in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Antwon Bailey rushed for 135 yards for Syracuse, while Dorian Graham added 18 yards. Ryan Nassib threw for 203 yards for the Orange, while receivers Van Chew and Nick Provo had 77 and 47 yards respectively.
Cincinnati lost the offensive yardage battle to Syracuse 373-368 yards in Saturday's game. Syracuse had more first downs as that total ended up 22-18.
The time of possession battle favored Syracuse as their offense was on the field for 30:00, longer than the 27:52 of their opponents.
Cincinnati heads into a Week 14 battle against Connecticut. Syracuse, meanwhile, will have their next action against Pittsburgh.
