Alexander Ovechkin scored twice and added an assist Thursday, leading the Washington Capitals in a 4-3 victory over the Atlanta Thrashers.
Washington won the game as -165 favorites, and the seven goals made it OVER the posted over/under (6).
Brendan Morrison and Mike Knuble added the other goals for the Capitals. Semyon Varlamov turned away 38 shots for the win.
Zach Bogosian had a pair of goals for the Thrashers, and Todd White added the other in the loss.
