Oilers fend off Wings

The Edmonton Oilers blew a four-goal lead, but managed to sneak out a 6-5 win over the Detroit Red Wings in a shootout Thursday night at Rexall Place.

Edmonton won the game as +135 underdogs, while the combined score sailed OVER the posted over/under (5.5).

Ales Hemsky scored twice for the Oilers, while singles came from Jean-Francois Jacques, Dustin Penner, and Shawn Horcoff. Patrick O�Sullivan scored the shootout winner.

Darren Helm, Henrik Zetterberg, Jonathan Ericsson, Todd Bertuzzi, and Patrick Eaves scored for the Red Wings.
