Canadiens edge Leafs in shootout

Scott Gomez secured a 5-4 win for the Montreal Canadiens with a shootout goal against the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Bell Centre Saturday.

Montreal won as a -130 home favorite while the final score played OVER the 6-goal total.

Tomas Plekanec had two assists for the Habs while Mike Cammalleri added a goal in the shootout.

Tomas Kaberle finished with a goal and three assists in the loss.
