Dan Boyle scored the shootout winner Wednesday, as the San Jose Sharks got past the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-2 at Nationwide Arena.

San Jose won the game as -120 favorites, while the teams played UNDER the posted over/under (5.5).

Joe Thornton and Dany Heatley scored in regulation for the Sharks. Evgeni Nabokov made 26 saves in the win.

Jason Chimera and Rick Nash tallied for the Blue Jackets. Steve Mason turned away 36 shots in the loss.
