The New York Rangers scored twice in the second period as they went on to defeat the Edmonton Oilers 4-2 Thursday night.

New York won the game as -120 favorites, and the six goals made it OVER the posted over/under (5.5).

Christopher Higgins, Ryan Callahan, Ales Kotalik, and Marian Gaborik scored for the Rangers.

Lubomir Visnovsky and Mike Comrie tallied for the Oilers.
