The New Jersey Devils scored three goals in the middle frame to secure a 5-2 win over the Washington Capitals at the Prudential Center Saturday.

New Jersey won as a -138 home favorite while the final score played OVER the 5.5-goal total.

The Devils were led by winger Jamie Langenbrunner, who had a goal and an assist in the win.

The Capitals scored the first two goals of the game from Tomas Fleischmann and Mathieu Perreault in the first period, but could not hang on for the win.
