Robert Lang, Dave Schlemko, and Radim Vrbata tallied for the Coyotes. Illya Bryzgalov stopped 26 shots for the win.
Mike Modano and Matt Niskanen scored for the Stars, while Marty Turco made 28 saves in a losing effort.
