Kings slip past Panthers in shootout

Jack Johnson potted the deciding goal in the shootout to lift the Los Angeles Kings past the Florida Panthers 4-3 on Monday night.

Los Angeles cashed as -105 road favorites, while the teams played OVER the 5.5-goal total listed by oddsmakers.

Randy Jones had a shorthanded marker to go along with an assist in regulation for the Kings, who got power play goals from Johnson and Jarret Stoll in the payday.

Corey Stillman put up a goal and an assist for Florida, which was outshot 34-29 by Los Angeles on the night.
