Buffalo won the game as -210 favorites, and the eight goals sailed OVER the posted over/under (5.5).

Clarke MacArthur, Jason Pominville, Derek Roy, Tim Kennedy, Andrej Sekera, and Mike Grier scored for the Sabres.

Scott Gomez and Josh Gorges replied for the Canadiens, who have lost four straight.
