Evgeni Malkin potted a hat trick and Bill Guerin had two goals with a pair of assists Wednesday, leading the Pittsburgh Penguins to an 8-2 trashing of the Ottawa Senators at Mellon Arena.
Pittsburgh won the game as -210 favorites, and the 10 goals sailed OVER the posted over/under (5.5).
Chris Kunitz, Ruslan Fedotenko, and Sergei Gonchar added singles for the Penguins. Sidney Crosby collected three assists, while Marc-Andre Fleury made 45 saves in the win.
Anton Volchenkov and Chris Kelly scored for the Senators, who lost their second straight.
