Senators edge Sabres in shootout

The Ottawa Senators slipped past the Buffalo Sabres, 3-2 in a shootout, at HSBC Arena Saturday night.

Ottawa won as a +172 road underdog while the final score PUSHED with the 5-goal total.

The Senators got the game-winner from Mike Fisher in the shootout. Goaltender Pascal Leclaire made 22 saves in the victory.

The Sabres got goals from Thomas Vanek and Jason Pominville in the loss. Goaltender Ryan Miller made 40 saves.
