Chip Vaughn blocked a last-second field goal attempt by Joe Surgan as the Wake Forest Demon Deacons fought off a spirited Duke team 14-13 at Groves Stadium.

Wake Forest did not cover the 21-point spread at home, and the 27 combined points were well UNDER the posted total of 41.

Riley Skinner was 22-for-29 for 235 yards passing and one touchdown, and Micah Andrews had 41 yards on the ground on 17 carries and scored the game-winning touchdown for the Demon Deacons.

Thaddeus Lewis went 21-for-32 for 305 yards and a score, while Jomar Wright caught five passes for 104 yards and a touchdown for the Blue Devils.
