Demon Deacons stun Terrapins
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons stormed back from a 24-3 deficit in Week 4, shocking the Maryland Terrapins 31-24 in overtime at Groves Stadium.
The Demon Deacons covered the 3.5-point home spread, and the 55 points scored were OVER the posted total of 35.
Riley Skinner was 22-for-35 for 219 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions, but he also had a rushing touchdown. Josh Adams ran for 91 yards and the game-winning major on 20 carries for the Demon Deacons.
Jordan Steffy went 11-for-20 for 115 yards and a pick, and Keon Lattimore rushed for 112 yards and a score on 27 attempts for the Terrapins.
