Capitals beat Panthers in shootout

Tomas Fleischmann scored in the sixth round of a shootout to give the Washington Capitals a 5-4 comeback victory over over the Florida Panthers on Wednesday night.

The Caps won as -150 road favorites, while the final score played OVER the posted total of 6.

Jason Chimera, Brian Pothier, Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom scored in regulation for the Capitals.

Michael Frolik, Dominic Moore, Stephen Weiss and Gregory Campbell scored for Florida.
