Martin Brodeur needed to make just 22 shots to post his seventh shutout of the season Wednesday, as the New Jersey Devils blanked the Florida Panthers 2-0.

Travis Zajac potted the early goal for the Devils, and Dean McAmmond scored into an empty net to seal the victory.

Tomas Vokoun stopped 30 shots in a losing effort for the Panthers, who saw their three-game win streak snapped.
