Flyers flatten Hurricanes

The Philadelphia Flyers got a pair of goals from Jeff Carter in a 4-2 win over the Carolina Hurricanes at the Wachovia Center Saturday.

Philadelphia won as a -228 home favorite while the final score played OVER the 5.5-goal total.

On top of Carter's goals, the Flyers got production from Daniel Carcillo in the first period and Chris Pronger in the second period.

The Hurricanes got goals from Eric Staal in the opening frame and Rod Brind'Amour early in the third period.
