Thrashers dump Flyers

The Atlanta Thrashers scored three goals in the third period to rally past the Philadelphia Flyers 4-3 Thursday night at Wachovia Center.

Atlanta won the game as +160 underdogs, and the seven goals made it OVER the posted over/under (6.5).

Jim Slater scored a pair of goals for the Thrashers, while Ilya Kovalchuk and Rich Peverley had the other markers. Johan Hedberg stopped 34 shots to preserve the win.

Claude Giroux, Arron Asham, and Daniel Carcillo scored for the Flyers.
