Senators sneak past Capitals

Jason Spezza scored once and added a pair of assists as the Ottawa Senators got past the Washington Capitals 6-5 Thursday night at Scotiabank Place.

Ottawa won the game as +105 underdogs, and the 11 goals sailed OVER the posted over/under (6).

Milan Michalek, Daniel Alfredsson, Chris Neil, Chris Phillips, and Alex Kovalev scored the other markers for the Senators.

Alexander Semin potted a hat trick for the Capitals, while singles came from Tomas Fleischmann, and Jeff Schultz.
