Philadelphia won the game as -125 favorites, while the eight goals sailed OVER the posted over/under (5.5).
Danny Briere potted a hat trick to lead the Flyers, while singles came from Mike Richards, Jeff Carter and Blair Betts.
Brian Gionta and Scott Gomez tallied in the loss for the Canadiens.
