Texas A&M knocks around New Mexico
The Texas A&M Aggies would not be upset in an opener again, downing the New Mexico Lobos 41-6 at Kyle Field in Week 1.
Texas A&M covered as a 16-point home favorite while the final score played under the 54-point total.
The Aggies got a huge day from from quarterback Jerrod Johnson, who passed for 349 yards and two touchdowns. Receiver Jeff Fuller caught 111 yards and one touchdown while running back Christine Michael ran for 93 yards and a score.
The Lobos were paced by quarterback Donovan Porterie, who finished with 210 yards passing.
