Stars hold off Senators

The Dallas Stars held off a late push from the Ottawa Senators for a 5-4 win at American Airlines Center Saturday afternoon.

Dallas won as a -116 home favorite while the final score played OVER the 5.5-goal total.

The Stars were led by Brad Richards' two goals. Also getting on the score sheet were Mike Ribeiro, Jamie Benn and Trevor Daley. Goaltender Kari Lehtonen stopped 25-of-29 shots on goal for the win.

Jason Spezza scored three of the Senators' four goals, adding an assist on Mike Fisher's goal in the first minutes and six seconds of the first period. Goalie Pascal Leclaire was pulled after allowing five goals on 19 shots. Brian Elliot finished out the game making six saves in the third period.
