Valtteri Filppula scored twice in the third period to lift the Detroit Red Wings to a 4-2 victory over the St. Louis Blues Wednesday night at Joe Louis Arena.
Detroit won the game as -180 favorites, and the six goals made it OVER the posted over/under (5.5).
Henrik Zetterberg and Todd Bertuzzi also scored for the Red Wings. Paul Kariya and Jay McClement replied for the Sabres.
