Canadiens cruise past Panthers

The Montreal Canadiens scored twice in the first and third periods to lift them over the Florida Panthers 4-1 Thursday night.

Brian Gionta scored twice for the Canadiens, while Benoit Pouliot and Tomas Plekanec added singles in the win. Radek Dvorak answered for the Panthers.
