Miami survives Duke scare
After a week of controversy, Miami jumped out to a 17-0 halftime lead, and had to fight to hold onto their 20-15 win over winless Duke at Wallace Wade Stadium on Saturday.
The Hurricanes did not cover the 20-point spread on the road, and the 35 points scored were UNDER the posted total of 41.5.
Kyle Wright led the Hurricanes with a 23-for-41 performance, gaining 297 yards, while tossing two touchdowns and one interception. Lance Leggett had six catches for 131 yards for Miami.
Thaddeus Lewis threw four interceptions to go along with 274 yards on 22-for-44 passing, while Jomar Wright caught ten balls for 170 yards for the Blue Devils.
