Jela Duncan rushed for 88 yards, while Juwan Thompson added 41 yards in the win. Conner Vernon and Jamison Crowder added 120 and 69 receiving yards respectively.
Carl Harris rushed for 31 yards for Memphis, while Brandon Hayes added 20 yards. Jacob Karam threw for 81 yards for the Tigers, while receivers Reggie Travis and Keiwone Malone had 28 and 21 yards respectively.
Memphis was outgained by Duke 500-152 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 28-9 by the Blue Devils.
Memphis lost the time of possession battle 36:42/23:18, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Duke looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Wake Forest. Memphis will aim to get back on the winning track vs Rice.
