Washington won as -185 road favorites, while the game resulted in a PUSH on the 6-goal total set by sportsbooks.
Alex Ovechkin, Matt Bradley, and Boyd Gordon also scored for the Capitals, who now lead the best-of-seven series 2-1.
Tomas Plekanec potted the lone marker for Montreal, which was outshot 36-27 in the loss.
