Flyers eliminate Devils

Claude Giroux scored a pair of goals as the Philadelphia Flyers shut out the New Jersey Devils 3-0 Thursday night and clinched the best-of-seven Eastern Conference quarterfinal series 4-1.

Philadelphia won the game as +160 underdogs, while the teams played UNDER the posted over/under (5).

Danny Briere potted the other Flyers goal on the power play, and Brian Boucher turned away 28 shots in the win.

Martin Brodeur made 17-of-20 saves in a losing effort for the Devils.
