Wings late goals sink Coyotes

The Detroit Red Wings scored three times in the third period as they took a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven Western Conference quarter-final by defeating the Phoenix Coyotes 4-1 Friday night.

Detroit won the game as -130 favorites, while the five goals went as a PUSH against the posted over/under (5).

Drew Miller, Tomas Holmstrom, Pavel Datsyuk, and Henrik Zetterberg tallied for the Red Wings. Jimmy Howard turned away 30 shots in picking up the victory.

Ed Jovanovski scored the lone goal for the Coyotes.
