The San Jose Sharks scored four times in the third period to defeat the Colorado Avalanche 5-2 and clinched the best-of-seven Western Conference quarter-final Saturday night.
San Jose won the game as -170 favorites, and the seven goals made it OVER the posted over/under (5.5).
Joe Pavelski scored twice for the Sharks, while singles came off the sticks of Dan Boyle, Devin Setoguchi, and Douglas Murray.
Marek Svatos and Brandon Yip answered for the Avalanche.
