Canucks cruise past Hawks in opener

The Vancouver Canucks scored twice in the first period en route to a dominating 5-1 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks Saturday night in Game 1 of their Western Conference semifinal series.

Vancouver won the game as +140 underdogs, while the six goals made it OVER the posted over/under (5.5) set by oddsmakers.

Mason Raymond and Christian Ehrhoff led the way with a goal and a pair of helpers. Kyle Wellwood, Henrik Sedin, and Michael Grabner added singles in the win.

Patrick Kane replied on the power play for the Blackhawks.
