Buckeyes rip Hoosiers
Quarterback Troy Smith passed for 254 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 54 yards and a pair of TD’s to lead the No. 14 Ohio State Buckeyes to a 41-10 win over the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday.
The Buckeyes were listed as 17-point favorites in this one and were successful on covering the spread. The game’s final score went OVER the posted total (46.5).
Santonio Holmes had five catches for 106 yards and a TD and Antonio Pittman rushed for 133 yards on 26 carries in the win. Brandon Mitchell returned an interception 57 yards for a touchdown and Ted Ginn Jr. got it done on special teams with a 62-yard punt return for a TD.
John Pannozzo recovered a fumble and returned it 57 yards for the Hoosiers only TD in the game.
